Booking Terms & Conditions
Short Term Holiday Rental

1. The Property is offered for holiday rental, subject to confirmation by Villas Valenciana, on behalf of the Owner to the Client. The rental agreement is between the Owner and the Client; Villas Valenciana is the booking agent for the Owner.

2. To reserve the Property, the Client should complete and sign the booking form and return it to Villas Valenciana together with payment of the initial non-refundable deposit. The reservation will be confirmed following receipt of the booking form and deposit. The balance of the rent is payable by the Client not less than twelve weeks prior to the start of the rental period. This payment is also non-refundable. Reservations made within twelve weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking. If payment is not received by the due date, Villas Valenciana reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled.

3. A security deposit of may be required in case of, for example, damage to the Property or its contents. However the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Client‘s liability to the Owner. The Owner will account to the Client for the security deposit and refund the balance due within two weeks after completion of the rental period.

4. The Client undertakes to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability, etc, since these are not covered by the Owner's insurance. The booking is accepted on the understanding that suitable insurance is arranged by the Client.

5. The Client will supply to Villas Valenciana on the booking form the names of all occupants of the Property, and the ages of those of 18 years and under. The booking is accepted on the condition that it is for the persons named on the booking form only, and is dependent on the presence of the person who made the booking. The Property and facilities (including gardens, swimming pool, etc) are solely for the use of these persons. The Owner reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time and without right to refund or compensation if this condition is not adhered to.

6. The rental period shall start at 4.00 pm on the first day and finish at 10.00 am on the last day. The Owner shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.

7. The rental price includes bed linen and hand/shower towels, and the Client shall provide their own beach/bath towels. For bookings of two or more weeks, a change of bed linen will be provided weekly. Water and electricity (normal consumption) charges are also included.

8. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period, and to remove all rubbish. Although a final clean is included in the price, the Owner reserves the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the Client leaves the Property in an unacceptable condition. The Client agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to those resident in neighbouring properties.

9. The rental agreement is between the Client and the Owner. Villas Valenciana is the booking agent for the Owner. All information is given in good faith, based on information provided by the Owner, and in the absence of negligence, no warranties are made regarding information provided either written or oral. In the absence of any negligence on the part of Villas Valenciana, Villas Valenciana accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury or accident which the Client or any of the Client’s party may incur or experience.

10. Villas Valenciana shall supply the Client with the name and contact details of the Owner’s local Managing Agent prior to arrival. Once the Client arrives at the Property, the Client shall communicate any matter relating to the Property to the Managing Agent, who is the local representative of the Owner. All subsequent matters relating to the Property shall be between the Client and the Owner or Owner‘s Managing Agent, and Villas Valenciana accepts no responsibility or liability.

11. The Client shall report to the Managing Agent without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown of the equipment or appliances in the Property or garden, and the Managing Agent shall make arrangements for repair and/or replacement as quickly as possible.

12. The Owner shall not be liable to the Client:

    1. for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the Property, nor in respect of any equipment or appliance in the Property or garden;

    2. for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the Owner;

    3. for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if the Property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event, the Owner shall - within 7 days of notification to the Client - refund to the Client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.

13. Under no circumstances shall the Owner's liability to the Client exceed the rental amount paid to the Owner.

14. No variation to these above conditions shall be valid without the prior written agreement of the Owner.
